Who qualifies?

This one's for property managers who are new to Utility Profit — anyone who doesn't already have an account with us — with no portfolio size minimum. We create your account the moment you book a demo or start onboarding, so the match is reserved for folks taking that first step now. Book your first demo, get activated by June 30, 2026, and the match is yours — up to $10,000.

What counts toward the match?

The referral payouts you earn when tenants set up internet and certain utilities through Utility Profit. We total your earnings on qualifying move-ins through Aug 31 and match them, up to $10,000.

When and how do I get paid?

We calculate the referral revenue you've earned as of August 31, then match it dollar-for-dollar. The payout itself comes a little later — by November 1, 2026 — for a simple reason: referral revenue doesn't land instantly. Tenants have to move in and keep their service active for a period that varies by provider before that revenue reaches us. Once all of your summer earnings have come through, we send your match as a gift card of your choice, up to $10,000.

Why are you doubling payouts?

Summer is the busiest move-in season of the year, which makes it the best time to see what Utility Profit can do. This is a limited-time offer for Peter Lohmann's audience — our way of getting you set up before the rush.

How do you make money?

When tenants turn on internet or power through Utility Profit, certain service providers pay a referral, and we share that with you as the property manager. There are no markups or fees for tenants or property managers.

What property management software do you work with?

Appfolio, Yardi, Buildium, Rentvine, RentManager, Entrata and others. These property management softwares are not required to work with our tool.

What utility providers do you work with?

We work with utility providers across all 50 states, including smaller and local providers. We'll show all of the potential options that are available to the tenants.
